East Coast Boardwalk (Eastern Section) | Free Registration for the East-West Boardwalk Run + Family, Individual and Pet-friendly Routes + Registration Details

The eastern section of the North Point East Coast Boardwalk was officially opened in December last year and has since become a popular spot for leisure walks and runs among residents and office workers in the Eastern District. The Development Bureau's Office of the Government Economist and the Harbourfront Commission will jointly organise the 'East-West Boardwalk Run' on 1 March at the North Point East Coast Boardwalk. Free online registration is now open, and all participants will receive a complimentary race pack. Finishers will also be entitled to a commemorative medal at the end point. The 'East-West Boardwalk Run' features a 5km individual run, a 3km parent-child fun run, and a 1km pet-friendly walk/run. The starting point for all categories is located near the Electric Road entrance of the North Point East Coast Boardwalk (East Section) (accessible by turning right into North Point Waterfront Park from Java Road), while the finish line is set at the easternmost end of the boardwalk near the Sai Wan Ho Hoi Yu Street entrance. Participants of the 5km run will get to experience both the east and west sections of the boardwalk, while those in the 3km category will focus on the newly opened eastern section.
